Dinan has carefully lightened the stock dual-mass flywheel for faster acceleration and more immediate throttle response. The Dinan flywheel has been lightened for a substantial 23% reduction in rotational inertia. The improved performance does not come at the expense of the smooth engagement and quiet operation provided by the stock configuration.
