Package Theft Policy
At Valvetronic Designs, we are committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience. However, we are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier.
Please review the following details regarding our stolen package policy:
1. Delivery and Signature Requirements
- Orders may be shipped without requiring a signature upon delivery. This means the carrier may leave your package at your doorstep, mailbox, or another designated location without obtaining a signature.
- If you prefer a signature-required delivery, please contact us before placing your order to explore available options.
2. Ensuring Secure Delivery
To minimize the risk of package theft, we strongly recommend the following:
- Track Your Shipment: Monitor your package’s tracking status to anticipate its arrival.
- Be Available for Delivery: If possible, ensure someone is home to receive the package.
- Use Secure Delivery Locations: Consider using a work address, a carrier access point (e.g., local pick-up center, locker), or a trusted neighbor to receive the package on your behalf.
3. Carrier Confirmation & Liability
- Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, we consider the transaction complete.
- If the carrier provides photographic evidence (e.g., a photo showing the package at your doorstep or mailbox), we will deem the package successfully delivered and assume no further liability.
4. What to Do if Your Package is Missing
If you cannot locate your package, we recommend taking the following steps:
- Check Your Surroundings: Sometimes, carriers leave packages in discreet or alternative locations (e.g., behind a planter or with a building concierge).
- Contact the Carrier: Report the missing package directly to the carrier and file a claim with them.
- Check with Neighbors: Sometimes, packages are mistakenly delivered to a nearby address.
- File a Police Report: If theft is suspected, report the incident to your local authorities.
5. Customer Responsibility
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring the secure receipt of your package once it has been marked as delivered. Valvetronic Designs cannot provide refunds or replacements for stolen packages.
Shipping Damages (WHAT TO DO?)
Valvetronic Designs can not be held liable for refusal of, delay of, loss of, theft or damage to a shipment of any item. The customer agrees to indemnify Valvetronic Designs for all costs, fees and expenses Valvetronic Designs incurs as a result of any violation of any local, state, federal, national or international laws or regulations. Customer agrees to take responsibility for lost packages that were not independently insured or sent without requiring signature. The customer understands they will be liable in the event of additional fees, tariffs, or legal issues such as border seizure. Customer accepts these risks and agrees to release Valvetronic Designs of all liability. All packages are sent without a signature unless requested.
Extreme care goes into the handling and packaging of each Valvetronic Designs product. All packages are shipped with the appropriate amount of insurance and packing material. If package appears damaged on arrival, state the damaged condition and have the driver acknowledge the damage condition as well. In the case that products appear damaged after opening, contact the carrier immediately. Save all packaging for the claim inspection.
IF AN ITEM IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
Please submit:
10 photos of the exterior of the box showing the damage for all angles
10 photos of the interior of the box with all contents inside
10 photos of the interior of the box with all components removed from the box
Please send these images to us on our support page, we will then open a claim with the carrier. Shipping damage claims MUST be presented to Valvetronic Designs within one week (7 days) of receiving the product for a claim to be authorized. This is the ONLY way we can process a shipping claim. Without pictures of the damaged area we will not be able to get the carrier to refund you so please be detailed. Any funds returned from the carrier will be transferred to you in form of a refund to your original payment method. Proceed with the installation as normal, If the outlets are damaged, have your installer expand the pipes in order to resolve this issue. Our goal with this process is for you to install your system as normal and we will work with the carrier to get you your refund. We can not assist if we do not receive accurate documentation of the issue as the item arrives to you.

Order Exchanges & Partial Returns
- Exchanges require placing a new order; send back the original for a refund.
- Partial returns (e.g., returning only part of a kit) are not allowed.
Fitment Issues
If you receive a product that does not fit properly here are the steps:
1. Take a MINIMUM of 10 Photos of the issues and 1 video.
2. Upload this information to the form below (please allow for 24-48hr response)
3. Email customerservice@valvetronic.com and relay the issues you are having
4. From there we will assist you in the process
If there is a fitment issues with a product please conclude the install immediately. Once the exhaust is heat cycled it is not able to be returned or exchanged as it is a used item. If the item you ordered is unable to be easily replaced Valvetronic Designs will cover the costs of modifications. This process is at the sole discretion of Valvetronic Designs.
If the item is a special operations product and another unit is not in stock, we will assist in the modification process to repair the exhaust. This way we are able to assist you get your car back on the road sounding as it always should have.
If a replacement unit is available, we will ship you a replacement and a return label to get the original damaged product back. If the original product is not shipped back Valvetronic Designs reserves the right to charge for the additional product.
