BRZ/FR-S Transmission Support + Bushing Combo by Perrin Performance

This Combo Pack includes the Perrin Performance Transmission Support, as well as Polyurethane Bushings for the 2013 - 2016 Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S. These will reducer drivetrain movements under hard acceleration, deceleration and cornering. This allows your engine to transmit more power to the wheels, which means better, more accurate launches for drag racing and auto cross type events where you do not want drivetrain slop.

PERRIN transmission supports are made from CNC 6061-T6 aluminum which means nothing will wear out. Also, with no urethane, the support will not squeak as urethane eventually tends to do. The factory "T" shaped interlocking support does not fit snugly into the transmission support. The gaps around this "T" shaped piece allow the transmission to move roughly 0.5" in all directions. The PERRIN Transmission Support is a larger version of the factory piece, eliminating the gaps and reducing transmission movements. The PERRIN Transmission Support, will only allow 0.1" of maximum deflection keeping the back end of the tranny in place during extreme driving and giving the driver a positive shift feel.

The PERRIN Rear Shifter Bushing removes the soft rubber bushing on the back of the shifter rod. This vital connection point joins the shifter mechanism to the chassis. Installing the stiffer PERRIN Rear Shifter bushing makes the shifter feel even more connected to your transmission. The PERRIN Rear Shifter bushing is constructed from stiff 88a durometer polyurethane. This material is flexible enough to allow for normal drivetrain movement, but stiff enough to eliminate the large amounts of deflection from the stock part.
