Aeromotive Fuel Cell - 15 Gal - Brushless Eliminator (18362)

Aeromotive, the world leader in fuel delivery systems and components, launches its first brushless fuel pump series. The same Eliminator Fuel Pump that the world has come to rely on is now available with brushless motor technology. Designed to withstand continuous pressures of up to 65 psi and utilizing our bedrock solid, twin chamber roller vane design that primes smoothly reduces friction, and enhances efficiency. Brushless motors use sensors to monitor rotor angle in order to enable faster and more reliable phase changing, resulting in increased torque capability and motor efficiency. Instead of the armature revolving, the magnets rotate around the armature in a brushless motor, and the motor controller handles the phase shift to keep the motor rotating under load (load is related to pressure in a fuel pump). Brushless motors make less noise and have a higher torque to weight ratio because they have more torque per watt. Except when utilized as a straight replacement part that meets OEM requirements, this product is not permitted for sale or use on emission-controlled cars.

The new Aeromotive brushless fuel pumps allow accurate control of fuel pump RPM as pressure rises, better-preserving pump RPM and flow, and generating a flatter flow curve, with a higher level of efficiency, down to fractions of a second in design speed control. Tight tolerances lead to lower current demand, less heat, and longer life. Upgrade to a quality brushless pump for a faster, more dependable, and uninterrupted fuel supply with reduced power consumption and the possibility of wear or failure.
