How to Jump Start a Car With the Charge N Start 1100
Jump starting a car without jumper cables takes under two minutes:
- Connect the red jump start clamp to the positive (+) terminal on the dead battery
- Connect the black jump start clamp to a ground point or the negative (−) terminal
- Spark-proof technology confirms connection before any current flows
- Start the vehicle — crank for up to 5 seconds per attempt with 30 seconds between attempts
- Disconnect the clamps and store

How to Jump Start a Motorcycle, ATV, or Powersports Vehicle

- Access the battery — on most motorcycles this means removing the seat; on ATVs and UTVs the battery is typically in a compartment under the seat or hood
- Connect the red jump start clamp to the positive (+) terminal
- Connect the black clamp to a ground point on the frame or the negative (−) terminal
- Attempt to start — crank for no more than 3–5 seconds; powersports batteries are small and recover quickly
- Disconnect and reinstall the seat or cover
