OVERVIEW
The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit adds front-end downforce without the necessity of moving the front splitter further forward. Dive planes, when designed properly, improve downforce on the units themselves as well as improving wheel well evacuation which is what we focus on in our development. By manipulating the flow around the vehicle, we are able to improve vehicle performance.
Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance for the given build volume; increasing downforce generated from the dive planes.
This dive plane kit was designed for owners looking to shift aero balance forward to help aid in balancing out a large rear wing or diffuser.
NOTE: Will only work with base model fog light bezels.

Science:
Dive planes, when designed properly, can increase front end grip and corner speed through improving front end downforce and reducing lift in other areas of the vehicle. We utilized OpenFOAM CFD software to improve the performance of our dive plane kit. This allowed us to get more performance for a given build volume on car.
The dive planes are part of the Ventus 1 package for the VB WRX. The Verus Engineering VB WRX package boosts the downforce generated by the VB WRX. We developed the Ventus 1 kit to provide a safe aerodynamic balance at speed to ensure safety and improved handling at high rates of speed. The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 package helps the VB WRX get more from the tires at the track as well as improved confidence on the street. If you are interested in more downforce, the Ventus 2 package may be more what you are after.
