OVERVIEW
The Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser combines function, form, and science to deliver unparalleled fit, performance, and style to your Subaru VB WRX. Increase the performance and aesthetics of the car with our simple to bolt-on kit that requires no permanent modifications to the car while retaining significant strength.
Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance for the given build volume; increasing downforce generated and drag reduced from the addition of the rear diffuser.
During the design process; we utilized in-house scan data. This results in a product that features a near OEM fit and finish.
This Rear Diffuser was designed for owners looking for function and form. On track, the diffuser has helped us increase straight line and corner speeds and reduce our lap times.

Science
The Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser decreases the overall lift and reduces the drag. The rear diffuser improves the aerodynamic efficiency of the vehicle as a result. The diffuser helped create vortices that keep flow attached to the diffuser surface, further improving its performance. The diffuser creates a low-pressure zone in the rear while the dive planes help add frontal downforce to balance out the rear diffuser. This equates to a well-proportioned aerodynamic balance for the Subaru VB WRX and what we refer to as our Ventus 1 kit. If you are looking for more downforce, look into our Ventus 2 and 3 kits.
